2018 Performances

Thursday-Monday, January 25-29, 2018: Cynthia, Katia, Madison, and Marcos (joined by Giuseppe Falla from Lima, Peru), are in New York City for Grammy week and the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday, Jan. 28, at Madison Square Garden. Events include: Roundglass Music Awards, the Indie Collaborative Showcase, 4th Annual Music Soiree, the Marriott Marquis pre-Grammy mixer and photo gathering, the Grammy telecast, the Grammy after-party, and more.

 

Saturday, February 24 & April 7, 2018: 2 p.m. Cynthia Haring & World Nation perform doo wop, pop & swing songs at Regency Residence. New songs include: "Hit the Road Jack," "Rainbow Connection," "Singing in the Rain," "Let There Be Peace on Earth," and "Day Dream Believer." Event is open to the public.

Sunday, April 8, 2018: 1 p.m. Cynthia Haring & Katia Valdeos of World Nation host a doo wop, pop, rock, & swing fundraiser at Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd. All funds raised at this concert go toward church misson programs such as bookbag ministry, literature books for low income children, blessing bags for youth and families living in the woods, and the Dawn Center, which provides support to abused women and children. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door or by calling 352-683-4870. Please come and join the fun!

Friday, April 27, 2018:  5:30 p.m.  The Sue Sue Sisters will perform pop, rock, and country songs at the annual Relay for Life cancer fundraiser at Nature Coast Technical High, located at 4057 California St., Brooksville, FL. The Sue Sue Sisters (above) include Katia Valdeos, Cynthia Haring, Margie Spinoza & Alice LaPlaca. This event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Come and support the fight against cancer.

 

Wednesday, May 9 & 23, 2018: 1 p.m. The Sue Sue Sisters (Margie & Cynthia) perform at Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive Tampa, FL, as part of their Arts in Medicine Program.

Tuesday, May 29, 2018:  1 p.m.  Cynthia Haring & Katia Valdeos perform doo wop, pop and swing songs at the Ridgecrest Village in Davenport, Iowa. For information, contact Marlene Miller at (563) 388-3427.  The public is welcome.

 

6 p.m.  Cynthia Haring presents the 2018 Caryl Haring Memorial Scholarship awards at the Davenport School Board meeting.  The scholarship fund is administered through the Davenport Schools Foundation.  For information contact Ami Allard Wells at 563-336-5004 or at wellsa@mail.davenport.k12.ia.us.

 

Wednesday, June 6 & 13, 2018: 1 p.m. The Sue Sue Sisters (Katia, Margie & Cynthia) perform at Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive Tampa, FL, as part of the Moffitt Arts in Medicine Program.

 

Saturday, June 9, 2018: 2 p.m.  Cynthia Haring & World Nation will feature the Amad sisters - Victoria, Emily & Nur - at this nostalgia music show at Regency Residence. New songs include "I Couldn't Live without Your Love,"  "Que Sera Sera," "Cheek to Cheek," and "Da Do Ron Ron."  Please join us for this free event, which is open to the public.

Friday, August 10, 2018: 8-10 p.m.  Cynthia Haring and World Nation will present an evening of doo wop, pop and swing songs from the 30s, 40s, 50s & 60s.  Special private event at Hernando Beach Club, 3145 Flamingo Blvd, Hernando Beach, FL

 

Saturday, September 8, 2018: 2 p.m.  Cynthia Haring & World Nation return to Regency Residence for a show, featuring songs from their two nostalgia albums, "Cruisin in My Wagon" & "Walking in a Memory."  Please join us for a group sing-along of pop favorites. The event is free and open to the public.

 

Saturday, October 27, 2018: 2 p.m. Wear your halloween costumes and come to sing, dance, and laugh with Cynthia Haring and World Nation at Regency Residence.

 

Wednesday, November 14 & 28, 2018: 1 p.m. The Sue Sue Sisters (Margie & Cynthia) perform at Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive Tampa, FL, as part of their Arts in Medicine Program.

 

Saturday, December 15, 2018: 2 p.m.  Cynthia Haring & World Nation present their Annual Christmas Show at Regency Residence featuring traditional Christmas songs and popular secular songs. Solo songs include: "O Holy Night"  and "You Raise Me Up." 

 

Monday, December 31, 2018: 7 p.m.  The Sue Sue Sisters come to Salishan for a New Year's eve concert of doo wop, pop, and swing and several Christmas favorites.  The Sue Sue Sisters are: Katia Valdeos, Margie Spinoza, Alice LaPlaca, and Cynthia Haring.  This is a special event for the Salishan community located at 19 Astaire Lane, Spring Hill, FL.
